How we access
When you run MangoBlogger add-ons for the first time, you will see a consent screen with the permissions it requires to work. Here is what each permission means:
Access drafts in your Gmail
Create, read, update, and delete drafts and also Send messages. This allows us to enable mail merge features for simple mail merge as well sending you relevant communication.
Allows the add-on to send email using your gmail account from the add-on.
Access info associated with your gmail account
Access details like first name, your email address etc. to send relevant product announcements.
View and manage your Google Forms:
Giving you the ability to create dynamic forms to collect user data
View and manage your Google Contacts:
Giving you the ability to add and manage users in your Google Contacts
View and manage your Gsuite emails:
Giving you the ability to add and manage users in your Gsuite, to add users with custom email ID for your domain
Access the UI service in the add-on:
To provide custom UI in our add-on to improve user experience
View and manage your calendars:
This is so that we can add users to events specified by you to your calendar events. Saves you time to add users manually.
View and manage your documents
In order to send offer letters, we use documents in your or your shared folders Google drive to use as templates.
This permission allows the add-on to send email on your behalf to yourself or other users for notifications, sending offer letters, sending exit letters etc. Email will be sent using your email address. We do not read or access any other email data but just send emails on your behalf through the add-ons.
Read and write your spreadsheets
In order for our marketing automation and onboarding apps to perform we need to read and write your spreadsheets.
View and manage your files in Google Drive
In order for the add-on to provide its services, it needs access to read from your files and write back to them. For example, it allows 404 checker add-on to perform ping to the URL and get the HTTP status. The records are processed within G Suite services, we do not collect or store any data from your files.
View and manage data associated with the application
This permission allows the add-on to save the settings you select. The settings are stored in your Google account.
Connect to external services and resources
This permission is necessary to define if your Google account has a subscription to the add-on. We use a third-party e-commerce service Paypal (https://www.paypal.com/) to process subscriptions and provide assistance with order-related questions. We do not have access to or store your personal information including name, email address, physical address, credit card details. Avangate are PCI DSS Level 1 certified (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).
How we use, store, or shares your Google account data -
Information collection and use
While using our Products, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your email address and name ("Personal Information").
We collect this information for the purpose of providing the Products, identifying and communicating with you, responding to your requests/inquiries, servicing your purchase orders.
MangoBlogger may collect aggregated statistical information in order to improve the Products and provide the best possible experience for you.
MangoBlogger gets your email address to verify your subscription. We do not share it with anyone. We may also collect your feature usage information for our add-ons to improve our service in the future.
We store your data that we collect in a database or a Google Sheet which are completely secure.
We use Google Analytics that collects, monitors and analyzes information that your browser sends whenever you use the Products ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Products that you use, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
We do not collect or analyze any data other than described above.
Any information you include in a comment on our blog or in a post on our forum may be read, collected, and used by anyone. If you want to remove any Personal Information that appears on our forums or blogs, please contact us.
We may collect, use, and store any data you share with our support service for testing purposes only.
We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send or by contacting us.
