    • BC schools are celebrating Canadian Agriculture Literacy Month with an extended Spring Agriculture Literacy Contest running from February 14 to April 17. During this time, students will explore engaging books about plants, wellness, and agriculture, while participating in meaningful activities that encourage growth and creativity!
    • The Classroom Agriculture Program was created to enhance students’ understanding of agriculture and where their food comes from, thereby fostering a greater respect for the industry and the individuals who make Alberta-based food production a reality. The program is presented to grade four and five students across Alberta at no charge. Volunteers deliver the program through storytelling, engaging props and fun activities.
    • Experience the full cycle of farming with the Food Farm program! Students spend a half-day at a farm to harvest crops and learn about food production, seed identification, farm animals, and more! Eight locations and a virtual option too. Limited space, click to register now!
    • A career fair like no other is coming to Manitoba Ag Days! Grade 7-12 students will be given a career passport and a show floor map with the goal of completing their passport — with the help of agriculture pros and some hands-on activities. Registration for AgVenture is now open.
    • Request a free AgScape guest speaker to teach your grade 4-12 students engaging, curriculum-linked lessons related to agriculture and food.
    • Join us in celebrating a fantastic achievement! Recently, we organized a volunteer day at one of our partner locations for the Mystery Seed Box initiative. The day was a remarkable success, marked by efficiency and teamwork. Our efforts have borne fruit, as evidenced by a staggering 459% increase in our reach through the Mystery Seed Contest.
    • AITC-NB is launching a high school marketing competition. A video and poster are created with mentor support.
    • Classrooms across Nova Scotia will be participating in AITC-NS Chick Hatch classroom program this spring! Incubators, fertilized eggs and all the equipment needed for hatching chicks are provided to teachers along with video resources and story books to help students learn all about chick development and how to take care of the chicks once they are hatched!
    • May and June become a vibrant and interactive world of Agri-Culture in our participating genAG schools. A big thank you to the amazing AG teachers and students and their supportive administrators at Charlottetown Rural, Colonel Gray, Kinkora, Morell, Three Oaks and Westisle High Schools.
